Lost Trails ATV Adventure Park – Dunmore, PA

The sun was shining and bright pink bras were hidden in the woods at the Lost Trails ATV Adventure Park in Dunmore, PA. The third weekend of September marked the First Annual Bras for a Cause Event supporting the Pink Ribbon Riders®. The Pink Ribbon Riders is a 501 C 3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide direct financial assistance to both men and women breast cancer patients through fundraising events. “Riding in honor and in memory of those we love”. The weekend started with an excess of 200 participants anxious to hit the trails. The best part of the event was that volunteers came together to raise over $1,700.00 for the Pink Ribbon Riders organization, to help provide direct financial assistance to breast cancer patients!
There was an open house at the dealership the same weekend and they were gracious enough to provide free hoagies and salads as well as a Motorcycle Stunt Show! The weekend was packed with fun and exciting things to do. The children that attended the event even got to jump in a bounce house. The weekend ended with ten lucky participants who found a hidden bright pink bra in the woods claiming their prize, which were donated by our sponsors. We would like to thank our sponsors, who even with our struggling economy still gave generously. Our platinum sponsors including, The Lost Trails ATV Adventures, North American Warhorse, and Valley ATV Club.
The Lost Trails has over 2,000 acres of riding area to enjoy and accommodates all riders from beginning to advance. Terrain varies from a kiddie track to old railroad bed, to rock crawls, to winding trails, to hills, to mud! There are open vistas such as the Top of the World which is a 2,000 foot lookout point, a reservoir, two lakes, and a historical 800 foot tunnel that you can ride your ATV through. These all made great places to hide the pink bras!
A big thank you to all the local volunteers that helped make this benefit ride a complete success. Without such great volunteers to donate their time this ride would not have been able to come to fruition. We are all looking forward to next year’s Bras for A Cause!
