Lost Trails ATV Adventure Park – Dunmore, PA
Over 250 participants attended the Second Annual Bras for a Cause, which took place on Sunday, September 16, 2012. The increase in attendance allowed us to raise $700 more than last year resulting in a grand total of over $2,400 for the Pink Ribbon Riders® The Pink Ribbon Riders® is a small non profit organization that provides direct financial assistance to both men and women diagnosed with breast cancer and is a grass roots effort. The events included finding hidden bras in the woods and when you bring them back to the check in area, you were able to claim one of the three main prizes. The first person won a 32 inch television. The second person won a Go Pro helmet cam, and the third person won riding gear! In addition to the donations received from admission that day over twenty baskets were raffled. In addition to the basket raffles, there was available for purchase event t-shirts and bake goods which helped to raise more for our cause. Along with North American Warhorse ATV dealership being open, vendors sporting miscellaneous items and food could also be found in the parking area. The Lost Trails includes over 2,000 acres with a large variety of terrain to explore, and everything from wet and muddy, boulder crawls, and scenic trails twisting through the wooded mountainside amid some of the most breath taking vistas. Most importantly we would like to thank all of our platinum sponsors who helped to make this event a success, as well as our volunteers from Valley ATV Club. If this event sounds like something you would like to attend please mark your calendar for the Third Annual Bras for a Cause next year on September 15, 2013.
